job description : Job Overview:
The Assistant Travel Coordinator will arrange business travel for employees, identifying the most cost-effective and efficient travel arrangements, and making necessary reservations for accommodations. This position will also assist the Administrative Team as needed.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Assists with employee travel arrangements (individual travelers as well as groups of travelers)
Advises employees on the best/most cost-efficient travel plans available that will meet their needs and requirements
Reserves airline, car and hotel tickets/reservations for employees
Assists with the travel and housing arrangements for off-site meetings and trade shows
Enforces corporate travel policies and procedures; educates employees on travel policies and procedures
Researches and compares available travel and hotel accommodations to identify the best available option for each travel need
Prepares written communications as needed
Prepares expense reports in Concur
Assists Administrative Team with projects
Assists with meeting and event planning activities both on-site and off-site (e.g. catering set-up, printing/collating materials, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience using Concur strongly preferred
