Salary: $2,400 to $3,000 a month

OPERATIONAL SEASON
Generally, the operational season is April 1st to November 1st.
The operational season is dependent on weather or acts of God. The operational season may be modified at the discretion of the owners.
General Job Description
The Park Manager’s primary responsibilities are high quality leadership and management of the park staff, excellent coordination and high attention to detail for the benefit of all guests, and prudent fiscal management of all revenue. Additionally, the Manager oversees, coordinates, and is responsible for fastidious maintenance of the park including its equipment.
Benefits

The Manager may reside in the apartment during the operational season at 18989 W HWY 50 UNINCORPORATED CHAFFEE COUNTY, COLORADO, 81211 while they fill the role as Manager. While residing in the apartment, reasonable use of all utilities including water, power, gas, cable TV, internet, * will be provided to the Manager without cost. Residence in the apartment including utilities is a benefit that cannot be transferred to another person, business, or entity.
If the Manager chooses not to live in the apartment, the use of the apartment and the utilities cannot be converted into a pecuniary benefit to the Manager or another person, business, or entity.
If the Manager relinquishes their position or is removed from their position for any reason, they must vacate the apartment within 30 days. Eviction proceedings will be initiated on the 31st day following the relinquishment or removal from the Manager’s position.
If the Manager chooses not to reside in the apartment, it will be used as rental property during the operational season.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to effectively use computers for word and data processing and records and reservations management. Experience with and the ability to operate Microsoft Office software, including Excel, is required. Experience using Campspot is preferred but not required. Must possess skill in using computers and other office equipment; in composing correspondence; managing filing systems; gathering and summarizing information; and in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing complicated and continuing assignments.
Ability to work independently. Requires the ability to analyze complex problems, evaluate alternatives and make sound decisions as to a course of action.
Ability to supervise the daily operation of fee collections, maintenance, public safety, and guests.
Enforce safe working habits at all times. Adherence to the park plans and policies.
Requires knowledge of and experience in general accounting principles. Ability to work within departmental budgets. Ability to purchase supplies and equipment.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Owners, employees, guests, and the general public.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; and the ability to follow oral and written instructions. Must possess sufficient written and verbal communication skills to be able to interact with a diverse general public, guests, co-workers, employees, vendors, and agencies in a professional manner, developing rapport and enhancing business relationships. Must have legible handwriting.
Must possess conflict resolution skills.
Ability to effectively communicate and delegate work plans and team goals to staff.
Ability to provide quality customer service and to ensure that staff members are providing quality customer service.
Good manual and physical dexterity in combination with good physical fitness.
Ability to react calmly and quickly in emergency situations.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to read and speak English.

Duties and Responsibilities

Must have a working knowledge of recreational vehicles (RV) – camper or motor home, used for traveling, living quarters, and recreational activities. Must use this working knowledge to assist campers with their RV from time to time.
Manage the daily operations of the park.
In collaboration with the Owners, hire, motivate, evaluate and direct staff. Ensure adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established goals and objectives. Ensure that all employees receive the training, support, guidance, feedback, and resources necessary to successfully perform their job
Produce a safety-focused staffing culture and ensure safe working habits at all times and strict adherence to the park policies.
Manage the guest services and fee collection aspects of the park.
Manage the overall park facilities maintenance, functionality and cleanliness of the park.
Work closely with the management to seek budget approvals and complete repairs and maintenance.
Maintain an engaged, active and focused staff by demonstrating a positive example of company rules and policies.
Manage maintenance supply inventory while adhering to budget requirements.
Oversee staff scheduling and timekeeping for the park.
Demonstrate an on-going commitment to delivering excellent guest service and to ensure that staff members are delivering excellent guest service.
Operate vehicles in and out of the park.
Maintain and enhance a guest-focused culture in all areas of responsibility.

Provide a positive and helpful attitude towards all our guests and all employees.
Support and enforce park rules.
Support the harmony and goodwill of the Owners.
Be an effective leader and motivator for the park staff.

Qualifications

US work authorization (Required)
Hospitality experience (1 year Preferred)
Associates degree (Preferred)
