What does your role bring to the table?

The Director of Brand Marketing is a key leadership role within the Snooze Brand team. The role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and will be responsible for developing and executing strategies and tactics in support of Snooze’s brand relevance, awareness, and loyalty. As well as, leading and inspiring a team of passionate marketers and brand creators.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in developing annual marketing plans, executing against those plans and measuring the success of key initiatives. Experience in building out an integrated marketing mix leveraging the following: insights, digital platforms, media, promotion, PR, and creative storytelling. This leader should have the ability to set strategies and tactics and then mobilize a cross-functional team to achieve the plan. This role will be instrumental in amplifying and telling the Snooze brand story around the following key brand pillars, Sustainability, Community, culture, ingredient sourcing and menu innovation. Additionally, this individual will also play a key role in developing traffic-driving initiatives that will help drive transaction and frequency. Notably, the support and managing of Snooze’s My Bennyfits Loyalty program.

This role will require a passion for marketing innovation and enhancing Snooze’s marketing acumen as the Brand team continues to grow. This leader will have the ability to adapt to the fluid needs of a business experiencing significant growth, possess critical thinking skills, thought leadership within the brand marketing landscape. This role will require collaboration across a diverse team within Snooze as well as the ability to bring others along. In addition, the willingness and ability to think at a strategic level while operating with an entrepreneurial mindset to get the job done with limited resources. Overall, this role will be instrumental in building an iconic breakfast experience!

The Position specifics!

Taking on the role of Director of Snooze Impact isn’t just about bacon and pancakes. The responsibilities of this position include:

Strategy & Brand Planning:

Assist in developing Snooze’s annual operating marketing plan.
Create integrated marketing mix leveraging insights, digital platforms, media, promotion, PR and creative story telling, Utilize integrated digital platforms to drive brand awareness, amplify story and drive restaurant traffic.

Traffic Driving Activation:

Responsible for managing and developing a promotional calendar, partnering with third party delivery partners (Door Dash/Uber) and Snooze’s online ordering platform(OLO), assessing results and business implications.
Build out new sales channels with the launch of a catering program and scaling Bodegga(virtual brand)
Key player in managing Snooze’s MyBennyfits Loyalty program in partnership with Digital Strtegy lead.

Menu Innovation Support:

As part of the menu innovation team representing the Brand team assisting in everything from menu innovation pricing, P&L’s and menu development process.
Assess menu item performance, mix and optimization.


Lead in the development of a paid media strategy across PPC, SEO and Social platform ads in support of existing restaurant and new restaurant openings.
Develop campaign calendar & messaging priorities.
Seek to understand campaign/media performance distilling key business implications and return on ad spend(ROAS).

Content Creation & Management:

Responsible for leading and developing relevant campaigns to be amplified via digital platforms (i.e., CRM/Social/Digital Media).
Requires collaboration/partnership with Digital lead as well as working with external or internal creative partners to develop necessary content.

Insights, Reporting & Measurement:

Create campaign reports to analyze key data and uncover insights and relevant trends.
Ability to leverage data that provide key insights, implications, and recommendations.
Assist in developing guest/consumer insight learning plan and execution.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mobilize direct reports towards achieving annual company and marketing team objectives.
Serve as a coach and mentor that inspires and develops direct reports to reach their full potential.
Work collaboratively with Chief Marketing Officer to develop all departmental goals and expectations.
Work collaboratively with Snooze Executive Leadership Team to meet all goals and objectives.

Let’s talk prerequisites! (Education, credentials, and experience)

Must be authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor’s degree level education in Marketing (or other relevant discipline)
You have 8+ years of restaurant, hotel, travel, or consumer packaged goods marketing experience (or other relative industry).
4+ years working in a leadership position that includes direct management experience related to Marketing.
1+ years of working in a Director level or higher position within Marketing.

Must have the stamina to work 45 to 55 hours per week
The travel required for this position is approximately 10% and must be able to travel for up to 5 days at one time (air, car, bus, train, and weekend travel all required)

The Nitty Gritty Details

Denver area base salary range: $120,000-$140,000 per year
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Snooze salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Snooze’s total compensation package for employees.
