Additional Information

Department: Human Resources Administration Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits Shift: M-F 8-5, This position will be primarily remote but there will be occasions when you are expected to work on-site at one of the CHCO locations. The specific details will be discussed in the interview process, and are subject to change at our discretion.

Job Overview

The HR Representative coordinates and administers a variety of activities and programs in support of Human Resource functions. The HR Representative also provides front facing customer service to employees and managers to answer and resolve day-to-day questions and issues, while ensuring compliance human resources policies and guidelines.
This position will primarily operate as an Onboarding Specialist within Human Resources although they may be asked to help support in other areas throughout Human Resources. Primary functions of this role include licensure and certification validation, background check and drug screen validation, and education validation. This role will work closely with Talent Acquisition as well as incoming employees to help facilitate all pre-boarding requirements as well as support additional onboarding duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

Coordinates and administers a variety of human resource functions, programs, and activities such as, non-employee on-boarding.
Interacts with employees (in person or via telephone or email) on a daily basis by explaining policies, procedures, and other related information and assists employees to resolve problems or issues.
Compiles and processes requests for reports, data, manuals, or other information as it relates to human resource activities or operations; examines documents and computations to determine accuracy, completeness and/or compliance with applicable human resources policies and guidelines.
Recommends, develops, and establishes processes, procedures or instructions to meet specific needs and challenges for assigned human resource functions.
Attends training sessions to learn concepts, principles, practices and applications of human resources work, studies applicable rules and regulations, and receives instruction in the interpretation and application of appropriate laws, rules, regulations, and procedures.
Participates in special projects as assigned and assists in orienting and on-boarding new Human Resource team members.

GUIDELINES: Developmental, standard, or intermediate level. Guidelines are generally numerous, well established, and directly applicable to the work assignment. Work assignment and desired results are explained by general oral or written instructions.
COMPLEXITY: Falls between the entry and full performance/senior level. Duties assigned are generally repetitive and restricted in scope but may be of substantial intricacy. Employee primarily applies standardized practices.
DECISION MAKING: Decisions or recommendations on non-standardized situations are limited to relating organizational policies to specific cases. Brings non routine issues to supervisor. Problems that are not covered by guidelines or are without precedent are taken up with the supervisor.
COMMUNICATIONS: Contacts with the public or employees where explanatory or interpretive information is exchanged, gathered, or presented and some degree of discretion and judgment are required within the parameters of the job function.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Under normal supervision, within a standardized work situation, the employee performs duties common to the line of work without close supervision or detailed instruction. Work product is subject to continual review.

Qualifications

EDUCATION – High school diploma or GED Certificate.
EXPERIENCE – Three years of experience performing specialized or technical administrative support work or customer service work.
EQUIVALENCY – Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field may substitute for the experience requirement.

Salary Information Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $44,168.65 to $66,252.98
Hourly Salary Range: $21.23 to $31.85
