Guild is hiring for a Manager, Student Operations to oversee a Student Operations team in the daily execution of their jobs as well as partnering with cross-functional colleagues to drive continuous improvement to Student Experience Key Outcomes, including student enrollments, student satisfaction, and student outcomes.
As the Manager, Student Operations, you will:

Oversee, lead and hold a team of managers accountable for day to day tasks and quarterly goals
Indirectly manage a growing department of 40+ Specialists
Maintain and reiterate on the team’s metrics and performance
Build and report out on quarterly OKRs that are aligned with overall Student Experience goals
Understand and identify down funnel implications for decisions being made that would impact the team
Focus on a 3-6 month strategy to grow, scale and optimize existing teams
Maintain a culture of dedication while balancing empathy and equity for team members
Understand and value the voice of the customer and translate that into business needs

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:
Required Competencies

2-4 years of experience managing managers
Use data to drive business decisions
Build positive relationships cross-functionally; including other Student Operations teams, Enablement, and Product
Ability to communicate both the ‘what’ and ‘how’ elements of change
Hold teams accountable to metrics, including employer Service Level Agreements
Build and grow a healthy team culture
Have a keen eye for strategy, risk and understand the implications of decisions

Preferred Competencies

Experience managing managers in high volume call centers
Experience in integrating a new product with existing systems

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $75,000-$97,500, as well as company stock options.
