What You Can Offer Gensco as a Database Administrator:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred
Experience managing enterprise-level Microsoft SQL Server databases, including SQL Server 2019 Enterprise Edition
Strong Microsoft SQL query optimization and index management
Adept at Transactional Replication, including setup, troubleshooting, and creating replication scripts
Expert performance troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with High Availability (Replication, Log Shipping, Mirroring, Clustering, AlwaysOn Availability Groups)
Familiarity with any of the following: Python, R, C#, PowerShell is desired
Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 ERP software system a plus

What You’d Be Doing:

Execute the administrative functions required for the enterprise SQL database
Install, monitor, maintain, and performance tune production databases while ensuring high levels of data availability.
Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software.
Lead the Data Services team, providing mentorship and teaching opportunities whenever possible.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
