Beecher’s handmade cheese is authentic, original and full-flavored food handcrafted in traditional ways with the best ingredients. We are part of Sugar Mountain, a creative food company that cares deeply about the health, well-being and culinary delight of our customers.

Beecher’s is looking for a full-time Cheesemaker. The hours will be 1PM to 11PM, 4 days per week. Starting wage is $21 per hour plus perks and benefits. After 90 days, starting wage goes up to $21.50 per hour. Also, you’ll receive a $1,000 sign on bonus. Payout of $500 at 4 months and $500 at 9 months.

Schedules are 10 hours shifts, 3-4 days a week.
What do you need?

18 years or older
Flexibility and willingness to help when needed
Able to lift at least 65 pounds repeatedly, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods of time.
Able to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent attendance, reliability, and initiative!!!
Desire for long-term learning and skill-building
A sense of humor
Varied taste in music (Bring your playlist to work)
What will you do?

Cheesemaking tasks include milk receiving, pasteurizer operation, vat operation, cheddaring, hooping, pressing, packaging and shipping.
Maintain production documentation
Understand and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices
Regular sanitization of production equipment
