Roles & Responsibilities:
Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
Grow and expands company social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content.
Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
Research and monitor activity of company competitors
Create and distribute engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media messages
Required skills:
Experience working with popular social media Platforms (Facebook , Twitter, Google+, Linked In, etc.).
Manage and help to create marketing content to socialize and use for social media purposes (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts and customers).
Support SEO strategies by understanding keyword priorities and how they integrate into content marketing plans.
Monitor and evaluate social media results on a daily basis in coordination with client goals and benchmarks.
Keep pace with social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exposure to blogging and social networking will be an added advantage.
Experience and/or exposure to Ecommerce Solutions are preferred.
